ACCESS GAME

PING PONG

For this game, I focused on programming, building a custom AI for single-player mode to keep the challenge engaging and balanced. I also handled the UI elements, ensuring a clean, intuitive design, and ran playtests to fine-tune gameplay and balance.

One unique feature is the inverted mouse controls—pushing the mouse forward brings the paddle down, and pulling it back moves it up.

It’s a twist that adds an extra layer of challenge and keeps things interesting.

The game offers limitless rounds with no set ball count, so players can enjoy an uninterrupted, immersive experience for as long as they like.

PING PONG

  • I programmed the core game mechanics, including paddle movement, ball physics, and scoring.

  • I also designed and built the Ping Pong arena, making sure the dimensions and boundaries felt just right for the gameplay experience.

PING PONG

  • I set up AI for single-player mode with adjustable difficulty levels to keep things challenging. I also added local multiplayer so two players can compete head-to-head on the same screen.

  • I created UI elements like score displays, game menus, and victory screens, adding sound effects and visual feedback to make player actions feel more responsive and polished.

  • I also ran playtests to fine-tune the gameplay and balance, and documented the entire development process and code for submission.
