About Me.
Hi! I’m Jaikar Pothula, a game developer and visual designer with a strong focus on UI/UX design for games and interactive experiences. I’m currently based in San Francisco, pursuing my Master’s in Game Development at the Academy of Art University, where I specialize in creating intuitive, responsive, and visually engaging user interfaces for mobile and desktop games.
My journey began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation from KL University, where I built a strong foundation in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and visual storytelling using tools like Autodesk Maya, Blender, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. I also took Coursera-certified courses on typography, photography, and digital design, which helped shape my eye for detail and layout — key skills I now bring into UI/UX.
In my Master’s, I’ve expanded into:

I’m passionate about designing interfaces that enhance player experience, support accessibility, and bring a game’s visual language to life. Whether it’s a sci-fi strategy game or a cozy mobile puzzle, I love turning complex systems into beautiful, usable design.

I led the UI/UX design for Tictactics5, a mobile multiplayer strategy game inspired by Tic Tac Toe. My role focused on building a smooth, player-friendly interface from the ground up, ensuring the experience felt responsive, strategic, and fun.
